TURNING GLASS INTO GARDENS

Glass is a forever material, meaning we can always find another use for it. So, we helped Bottled Baking Co. teach fellow eco warriors how to do just that with their empty glassware.

WHY

Glass recycling should be more readily available than it is. As a country, the UK are particularly bad at it.

If there’s a way we can encourage even one person to ditch the bin and give a new lease of life to their glass, then we’ll do it!

Thankfully, a few more than that joined in…

Collaborating with London Terrarium to turn trash into treasure

The founder of Bottled Baking Co., Greg, gives a damn about making the world a better place. Using recycled glass in his bottles wasn’t enough, he’s also totally plastic free and educates his customers about how to reuse their empty bottles.

For World Earth Day, we were asked to come up with a campaign to show a unique way to repurpose glass once its been used, so we collaborated with London Terrarium to host a workshop to show people how to create cute plant homes from their empty bottles that would have otherwise been disposed of - turning trash into treasure. In order to create the perfect place for plants to live, we had to seek some help from London Terrarium. They kindly offered to host a free live workshop with us, so our video team headed down to London to film the event on 22nd April. We then livestreamed this to lots of lovely people who tuned in on Facebook and Instagram for both Bottled Baking Co. and London Terrarium.

"The team have helped get us a proper plan in place for our posts and taken most of the social admin away from us, which allows us to crack on with scaling the business! We've also totally refreshed our photography style and developed a strong catalogue of imagery to use online, in print and beyond!"
